Which RAID?

Hey,

Somewhat familiar with server RAIDs, completely unfamilar with home RAIDs.

The board is an ASUS K8V SE Deluxe. It has a Promise PDC20378 and a VIA VT8237 southbridge chipset. My goal is performance. Both support RAID 0. Which one do I use?

Dunno, it's possible that the Southbridge RAID would use some CPU power, whereas the Promise controller shoudl be completely integrated.

From what I'm reading the VIA would use some CPU power, but can handle larger files faster than the Promise can (?) Does it just not make a difference?
