Which Raid option?

I plan on buying an Abit KR7A-Raid when it'll be available, and I'm mainly a FPS-gamer. Which choice would you guys recommend?

2 x IBM 60GXP
2 x Maxtor D740X

or is raid not neccessary? If not, should I just get a Western Digital 100GB Special Edition?
 
That depends on what you need it for. Transfer rates will get a bump up in speed... but for casual use... it's not worth buying two hard drives for something you would rarely need... unless you're silly like me. 🙂 I would go with the Maxtors I were you... something about those GXPs scare me.
