Which RAID is best for me and controller?

I am building a new system. I will have multiple hard disks. My problem is that I don't know which RAID level to use for my 4 IDE 100GB HD. I was contemplating RAID 10, RAID 3, and especially RAID 7. I can't find any controller cards for RAID 3 or 7, can IDE drives even be used in a RAID 3 or 7? If they can, can I get a cost estimate for the controllers? A secondary question I have is which PCI IDE controller is the fastest, must have 4 independent channels onboard. I am using the system to edit 3D Studio and SoftImage files, so it is important that the drives are fast and reliable. Any answers and suggestions would be appreciated.

as to your question, u might try the Promise FastTrak TX4. don't know what Raid modes it has, but i know it has 4 ide channels so it might be what u are looing for. love my Fastrak TX2.
