I'm building a system around an ASUS SK8V and I want to use a striped RAID array. Is it best to attatch my 2 SATA drives to the southbridge VIA RAID controller or the additional Promise RAID controller? Both are integrated on the board but is there any performance difference between them?
Also, what kind of block size should i select? I'm going to be using the system for video editing & the odd game. Asus suggest a larger size but what... 64? 128?
