which radeon to get?
Which one should I get for autocad and gaming?

Sapphire ATI Radeon 8500LE 64MB 275 MHz

Sapphire ATI Radeon 8500 128MB Retail $228
Sapphire ATI Radeon 8500LE 128MB DDR OEM $219

ATI Radeon 8500 64MB DDR OEM $206

Sapphire ATI Radeon 8500 64MB ((275 MHz)) Retail $222
Sapphire ATI Radeon 8500LE 64MB ((275 MHz)) OEM $209

Please, don't reccomend a geforce...

are those prices in US dollars? if so... they are kinda high. but if u must... being the price difference between the 64mb & 128mb cards are quite minimal... i would go with the retail 128mb card.

Be wary of Sapphire... they look good on the surface but when you really look at the specs you notice stuff like single head (no Hydravision) or really slow memory (like 183 Mhz not 275Mhz)

Those hopefully are not US dollars (especially for Sapphire) but from your list I'd go for the ATI Radeon 8500 64MB DDR OEM $206 because it's an ATi product... second choice, Sapphire ATI Radeon 8500 128MB Retail $228 (make sure the memory is DDR and not SDR)

I agree with everyone, Those prices are awfully high if thats USD, you can get a nice RadeonLE for $99 at Newegg.

But I'd say look around a bit more, read some reviews... see which card performs the most for your budget.

Check Toms Hardware Guide and Anandtech for reviews...

Though, that RadeonLE at Newegg is a real steal!

newegg doesn't ship to Canada, and those appear to be loonies he's quoting.

If you're still with us proton, built by ATI oem for CDN168, check here.
