Which PVR and remote for Media Center 2005

I am trying to figure out what PVR to get....I have been looking at Hauppauge solutions. I like the 500 series but which decoder can you get? Is the Microsoft Remote the thing to get?

Any issue with using a Radeon 9700 Pro video card in a Media Center 2005 rig?

What would you recommend for the HTPC?

I use the NVDVD decoder and it works great with the 150's. Get either the Microsoft or the Phillips MCE remote. I think Newegg carries them both.

Thanks for the input.. I noticed that the Microsoft site does not have the Radeon 9700 Pro video card listed as compatible, so does anyone have this card running on Media Center 2005?

This computer is strictly for Home Theater use. I have a different rig for games.

The Media Center rig is as follows:

Athlon XP 2500+
512MB Corsair XMS
200MB Seagate SATA 7200rpm
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe NForce2 ultra 400 MB
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB video
Logitech Z5500 speakers
Lite-on DVD dual layer burner

Oh...Where did you get the NVDVD decoder?

It is an NVIDIA decoder but the site says it is compatible with the Radeons. You can download it for $20 at Nvidia. I think I have heard of 9700's running media center. Try the forums here or here.
