I'm looking at a new case and PSU. I like the look of the Antec TX1050 and TX1088. They look identical but the 1050's black and the 1088 silver. The other slight difference is the 1050 comes with a smartpower 500W and the 1088 a truepower 480W. I've looked at the specs and the smartpower has 17A and 19A on the 12V rails whilst the truepower has 2 18A 12V rails. I was wondering if you guys could say if one would be better or are pretty much equivalent. smartpower 500W specs and Truepower II 480W.

Also, I was looking at getting the Epox EP-9NPA+ Ultra and one shop said that it wasn't compatible with the Smartpower 450W. Has anyone heard of it before? Is it just in the case of these 2 components being used together or is for all Epox nf4 boards with smartpowers?

And if you read through all those n00b questions and managed to post a reply, thank you very much :).

Just read a review of the truepower last night, it held voltage to within 1% at 100% load. (Thats VERY good). I have no idea why it wouldn't work with that Epox board.
