For the following configuration please suggest compatible PSU models and/ or required watts.
Asus 990fx mobo
AMD Phenom II x6 1100t Black Edition
HD Radeon 6790
4gb G skill Sniper 1600 Mhz
1tb HD 7200 RPM
DVD Writer
Lan card
 
Almost any ATX unit on the market will be compatible and have enough watts for that system. But more importantly, not all units are good quality and reliable. Where are you buying from?

Also, can you clarify the exact model of that Radeon 6790. Different models can require different numbers of PCIe connectors.
