Which PS do I buy?

I burned up my power supply and, obviously, need a new one. Any recommendations for a new unit? My roomate says Antec, the lab at school only buys from PC Power Cooling, and Enermax seems to be popular. I'm in an area with a high amount of power surges on the order of 35-45 volts at a time several times a day, so a good heavy duty ps is a must.

Thanks.

oh, and I need ATLEAST 300-350 watts, preferably 400W. This has got to support 4 scsi drives, a pair of cdr's, and about 30W worth of fans.

All three of the brands you listed are great. I have had experiences with enermax and antec. Both are really quiet. The enermax has 2 fans instead of one and a switch on the back of the powersupply. Also the ATX cord is a lot longer on the enermax.

Any of the brands mentioned are good, PCP&C is good only if it's somebody else's money, as they sell rebadged high quality units from Fortron/Source, ZippyEmacs, and others. Great service, though.

The Enermax line is arguably the best on balance of price, performance and quality. Whatever you decide, be sure that what you buy conforms to the new ATX2.03 standard, preferably with the 12v and aux. power plug options- Your next build may require them.

I've heard that Sparkle makes great power supplies. And their voltage regulation is tighter than any of the enermax's...so thats a plus.
