use coolbits...

prime95 is a good indication of if your initial overclock is good or bad...

if it's too high, then prime will error out pretty fast...

but most let it run for at least 6 hours or even 24 hours before they will consider it stable..

HOWEVER... when people run 3d games, they computer will crash so fast...

that's why you shouldn't trust prime or put all faith in prime....

encoding divX is also a good way of testing your cpu stability..

thugsrook can tell you more about it.. dunno where h'es been these days... (BLEEDINGEDGE BLEEDINGEDGE)

22 is fine
sandra 32bit
TONS OF GAMES (3dgames)
memtest86 (with c-1-2-2-3-0-spacebar "code" heh...i think i got it right...)
3dmark2001 loops and prime95 at the same time for final test...for like 10+hrs

Hey!!! put this in ur guide!! hehe thanks and I'm guessing I'll understand the code for memtest when I try out the app?

lol
its in there for the most part i believe
the 2nd part still isnt up....*sigh*...theres always something to do that takse away from review/article writing lol

when u startup memtest86, it'll just start testing right away...dont worry lol
just press the keys above and ur set

What do you mean press the keys above if it just starts up when do i have time to press the keys?? and what is a good program to monitor temps and stuff?

when u stick in the floppy, boot from it, the program will load and start testing automatically. Theres no "would u like to contineu" type prompt. Just when you're in the program and its doing its thing, at any point press the c-1-2-2-3-0-spacebar (theres a menu that pops up when u press c) and then let it contine doing its thing. The only difference is that now CPU cache is turned on for all tests, instead of a select few.

Motherboard Monitor 5 would be the best imo for temp monitoring.
