I was looking at a jar of skippy peanut butter today, and i could not find any sign of kangeroo meat in the ingredients.

Also my local supermarket had a jar of spunk, in the uk, if you found a jar of spunk, you would not want to put that in your mouth (unless you swallow!)

What other products do you think have the wrong name ?

I think the OP is hinting that Skippy is a common kangaroo's name.

Let me check the ingredients on a jar of Peter Pan, and I'll get back to you. 😉

thank u kranky for explaining that to people

check out here for more information

this was a kids tv show in the 60's and 70's (and i've seen it on cable recently too), and also as kranky said, skippy is a nickname given to kangaroo

Nor does it have any coal by-products :|

Ocean Kayak was a branding error, IMO, although somewhat fortuitous in the fact that sometimes people think that in order to kayak in the ocean they need an Ocean Kayak as opposed to some other brand of kayak.

Yugo. In reality, if you have one, you often don't go.

How many apples are in an Apple computer? How many macintosh apples are in a Mac?
