Which processor and mobo to pick?

A buddy has to sell a complete mobo and chipset. He has:

_AMD_
MSI K8T Neo board
AMD Athlon 64 2800+

_P4_
MSI Max2 845PE
P4 2.66, 533, etc.

Which is the better of the two?

Depends. I'm not sure if the 845PE has Pci-e or not. If it does, I would go with PCI-E, although the AMD processor does outperform the P4 significantly.
