OK,
I am really out ot the loop on whats what these days. I am ordering a new Dell laptop, and would like some advice as to which proc to get.
I am between a
Celeron M 360 (1.40 GHz/1MB Cache/400/MHz FSB) or a
Mobile Celeron Processor at 2.20 GHz / 256 KB L2 cache /400MHz FSB
How does the clock speed vs. cache compare in the grand scheme of things?
I will be doing the standard surfing/email, a bit of word/excel, lots of Illustrator and a fair amount of Photochop, and a little bit of video work. I doubt I will do any gaming, so there is need to go top end.
The two systems would be equipped pretty much exactly the same other than the proc, and are priced within $30 of each other. I am just wondering which would be a better choice.
And for the record, yes, I did search the articles/reviews, but couldnt make heads or tails out of what I found. I also scrolled back 20 pages or more in this forum, looking for and answer, but to no avail.
Thanks all,
Cambo
