i need a new PSU that will last for long long time and support my xp2200+ with huge coolmaster fan/768mb/radeon8500/HD/CDRW/some 4 or 5 LED fans~

i heard antec & Enermax are some of the best for the money, is that true??

where and what can i get one for around 50-60$ shipped??

you can get anything that is decent quality in the 350-400ish range which will be no problem for your system.

350 Antec or 350 Enermax should fit the bill just fine. check pricewatch for best prices, but they can be had just about anywhere.

Personally I use enermax 350 for my 1 machine, very stable rails at full load.

System Specs:
Athlon XP-Mobile 2600+@2532MHz
NF7-S rev 2
1Gig OCZ
thermaltake extreme volcano 12
ATI 9800pro
HDD/DVDRW/ZIP
5 case fans
Fan controller

I think 350W is good enough for you. I was going for 400+W or so and read that it's not even necessary with the components I have.

I also have an antec 300W for 4 years now and still running. Never had problems with it but its rails are a bit low on the +12V at +11.47 but still running fine.

System Specs:
TBird 1Ghz@1.1Ghz
KT7-Raid
SB Live
2 HDD
1 CDRW
1 DVDROM
1 zip Drive
3 Case fans
GF3 MX

Good luck on your choice.

I've always used Antec and had great results. I do have an older 350W PC Power and Cooling that's been working fine for years but I noticed the +12V is now running about +11.5V. I'll probably replace it with another Antec.

well i suggest you get this for 69 bucks antec 430w
should be able to power anything u throw at it for another year or 2.. and should last for a long long time...
i got a 350w antec psu like 2-3 years ago and im still using it now .. still runs perfectly

If you want to OC, you'll be surprised how much the extra wattage will help you.
I used to have an Enermax 350W with an Athlon T-bird 1.33GHz oc'ed to 1.53GHz. It would be unstable and crash within minutes getting into windows.
After upgrading to Enermax 431W, I was able to retain my 1.53GHz OC ROCK SOLID STABLE without one crash EVER!

A good powersupply could give your CPU a lot more overclocking juice!
