Which Power Connector Draws More Power on GTX 460?

This is on a reference EVGA GTX 460 non-OC 768MB.

I have only 1 PCI-E 6pin connector, so for the other one I have to use the molex to PCI-E adapter. From this article, it looks like the card draws more power from one of the plugs than the other. Naturally, I would like to put the real PCI-E in the heavier draw. Does anyone know which plug (the top or bottom one) has the heavier power draw?

My power supply is plenty powerful (Antec NeoHE 550W) but I used up all the other modular connectors so I have only one free for PCI-E 6pin.

I needed 4 connections from 2 pci-e cables myself so I used 2 Y adapters.
You could get this and avoid molex, I feel this is more ideal, in case the molex pulls power from a source other than the 12v rails. And its not on a link with your hard drives.

This is the one I used, its sleeved, but its out of stock at the moment.

The second power connector, located near the PCB edge, is always more loaded than the other one
This states you want the outside one, I edited this post.

Yeah I read that too, but the card they reviewed has the connectors both on the top, rather than on the back of the card. I have a reference card with both connectors on the back, so I was not sure which is the heavier loaded one.

Link us to your exact card, I can only make a logical guess though. The traces on the pcb could give you a clue if you can follow them to their first inter connection. Using a high res photo ?

The evga's seem to all have the 2 6 pins in the same place. You have a similar card to the one in that xbit article. So use the one nearer two edges. It would be the top one in this orientation.

It doesn't matter. Plug it in, it will beep or go bsod if it doesn't work.
