Which plane's better for a long flight? 747-400 or A330-200?

I used to fly KLM several times a year from The Netherlands to JFK. They always treated us right so I will put in my vote for them.

Never did Air Aus. so I can't comment on them.

747s have really nice interiors, unless you're flying a sh!tty carrier like china air or something

I like the 747...been flying in them since I was 3 to go back to Taiwan. And...China Air's 747s aren't that bad--been on a few of those too. I thought the service was even better than United Airlines--more food, more drinks, etc...hehe. Though, that was like 5 or 6 years ago.

As a tall guy, I tend to like Airbuses, which seem more spacious to me than other planes (though I think it is partly psychological, because they definitely have more vertical room, which isn't really usable except when you are entering and exiting). I have not flown on a 747 for several years, though, and a lot of it is down to the airline and how they space the seats.
