Which picture hosting script/software to use among these...

My hosting provider for a personal site has cpanel, which is great for a total noob like myself, and has an option to install either 4Images Gallery, Coppermine Photo Gallery, or Gallery.

I'm looking for something with ease to administer as I don't need that many features. I'll be content with simple picture hosting. I need to be able to manage who can and who can not register as this is a private, personal website of a friends.

What do you guys think for simplicity and ease of use for a noob like myself?

Coppermine would be perfect and make sure to check out the themes :thumbsup:

I use all three, but mostly use galelry and coppermine?

I like the backup to CD option that gallery has.-

Also a nod for coppermine, but dang, that SimpleViewer looks pretty sweet! I wonder if it has an interface for letting users register and upload their own photos....

I don't really care for Coppermine, for a simple site. I say Gallery.

Coppermine has a lot of features, but I think gallery is awesome simply because of the java upload interface. They even have a separate program you can use to connect to your server and upload photos.

Just to be fair...coppermine has the Windowx XP Publishing Wizard, nice simple and quick....of course gallery has it too.

When is gallery 2 coming out of beta?
