Which Phone to buy?

I had to downgrade from cable to DSL. I couldn't afford the $100 monthly bill from Comcast vs and additional $15/month to the phone bill. Now that I'm up and running, the cordless phone has a lot of static on it. Which makes it hard to hear what anyone is saying. I have the filter on there correctly. And the corded phone works just fine. I've heard that cheap cordless phones don't get along with DSL well. Does anyone have any experience with a particular model of cordless phones that will work without getting static on the line? I'd like to keep it on the cheap too.

I love Panasonic cordless phones. they are some of the best i've had. are they the cheapest? probably not, but they are among the best in quality. they have great sound reception and clarity and amazing battery life. and great range too, i can go really far from the set and still have great reception. i think they are tops in my book, at least thats my opinion after having used their phones

hey.

i use a cheap uniden 2.4 mhz phone alongside DSL with no problems.

i think i paid $20-25 for it. however, that was before 5.4 or w/e the new mhz is.

ive always had static when i had dsl the filters dont work. phones i had and still had static motrorola 2.4ghz wireleess phones and paasonic 5.8ghz wireless phones it's because the filters dont work.
