Which P4 3.2 GHz Prescott?

I'm a little confused about the differences btwn these two sockets...Does LGA 775 only support DDR2 memory or can it use regular DDR? Is PCIe compatability one of the differences or is that not even a factor yet?

Some 775 motherboards use DDR but most of the high end ones use DDR2.
PCIe video cards are hard to come by right now, but that might change with the 6600GT.

The 915 series chipsets support DDR and DDR2. The 925x chipset only supports DDR2
