Equally evil or equally safe.

Ok...edit...uh...my vote for most ridiculous, "wtf-are-you-talking-about-Willis" poll....ever!

Speak it, brutha! When I click on "Search", I just want the SEARCH dialogue to come up. why do I have to choose what I want to find on a redundant and superfluous list, when I can just SPECIFY what I want to search for? stupid user-friendly stuff.

and Win2k would be the more evil one, I think. has a better rep.

however, I'd have WinXP box in a closet, with VNC... ;)

Because everyone complained about Windows making it difficult to find things. Microsoft really can't win either way; they're admonished by the 10% who don't feel the 90% need to be accommodated. Everyone criticized Windows for not being "secure by default", now you get annoying "Are you sure you're really sure?" dialogs everytime you make any change to the OS that might result in an additional 0.000001% of vulnerability.

Oh, and just disable the user-friendly stuff and go back to "classic."

It is the ONLY true evil computer on earth. I've been attempting to get a P2 to run the 1/2/3 versions, so I can create the second version of it - running everything from 1.01 to Win2k3 Server Enterprise.

Speaking as an evil person, between those two choices - the most evil one of the two is Win2k. True evil minds have no time for such superfluous crap as is included in WinXP, but require the security holes to leak false information about their plans.

People who use Win2k are evil because to be evil, you need stability in an OS.

Win2k? Is that why their plots are always foiled?
