Which OS for rc5?

I want to run rc5 on a dx2 i am getting for free... which is best? 3.1/95/98se or NT 4? (2k or ME will most likely not fit)

95 would be the most light weight and stable to use if you are going to network it.

Just an opinion though :)

By "dx2" I assume you're talking about a 486DX2; in which case if you're going to need to network it, but not use it, run KLinux. If you need to use it, install either 3.1 or 95 depending on your needs.

I haven't even got it yet, but i suspect a hard drive between 200 meg and 600 meg... how big is klinux? ;)

definatly linux. if all your running on it is RC5 then Klinux. but debian (unbloated) is by far the fastest if you need to use the machine. you wont be running xserver or xwindows on it so CL is your best bet anywayz

Try searching Kilowatt's site forone of the older versions. The older ones will run in 16MB I think. :)
