Ameritrade customer service BLOWS - I've been trying to get their paperwork snafu fixed since September.

Interactive Brokers offers L2 quotes and they're highly reccomended. They're tech saavy and their comission schedule is awesome.

Depend on your account size. If you have way over $50k, Fidelity offer a lot of goodies. But if you want no frills, no fees, scottrade/tradeking is probably one of the best.

Scottrade has offices and people you can talk to. I highly recommend for any account size.
