Which ones better

a 7800gt is much better than a 7600gt. byut consider getting a x1950pro for 5 bucks more. its faster than a single 7900gt and squashes anythng nvidia has in the 100-200 bucks range. and has better iq.

if you don't wanna spend 200 consider a 7900gs as well

Hey that's the 7800GT I used to have. Those things overclock really well for some people. Of those two cards, I would get a 7800GT over a 7600GT and a 7900GS over a 7800GT.

No, it's 470MHZ vs. 500MHZ. I don't know how much you can overclock the 7900GS though. For that price, I'd definatly go for the 7800GT. If I had an SLI board on my other machine I'd definatly buy another 7800GT for that price.

Another quick question, What mother board should I get with the 7800gt, I will be getting a 8800 when they drop in price. I wanna spend about 200 on the mobo. Thanks

AMD or Intel?
If you want go core 2 which I would recommend, then I would recommend the asus P5W DH for that price range.

I've heard that the 680i boards are hitting 2000MHZ on the bus speed, but I know for certain that the Asus board that I recommended to you will overclock really well and supports dual gpu technology if you ever need it.
