Which one would you recommend Alienware aw2310 OR Asus vg236he

Hello, I am planning to buy a 3d [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]monitor[/COLOR][/COLOR] and I have the choice between these two monitors (alienware aw2310 OR Asus vg236he,) which one would you recommend if the price is the same for both? Thanks

I can only give my perspective on the asus one since that's what I own and I've never seen the alienware in person. The picture is sharp, colors seem to pop, and 120hz is great. 3d is awesome but it's either you love it or hate it and I love it. From what I've read the alienware has a super nice stand and looks awesome. The asus stand is pretty basic. I don't believe there is much separating picture quality. I do believe the asus has a brighter picture and that really comes into play when using 3d since the shutter glasses really reduce brightness. I'm happy with the asus.

Thank you for your reply. But, let me ask you this, I've heard about ghosting and lag issues with the Asus monitor so have you experinced any of that?

There is not a monitor that doesn't get ghosting or a little lag in 3D. I think TV's are further along as far as less ghosting/crosstalk while watching movies but you can't game on them at 60fps each eye which I'm sure would cause issues. It's not bad on the asus and I'll guarantee it's the same on the alienware. I've been playing BFBC2 multiplayer in 3D on the asus and I really haven't had a problem kicking some butt which would be hard to do if the lag was that bad.
