Which one would you buy?

Ummmm... these are different guns? 🙂 I don't know much about guns... they both look too small though. 😀

I don't know anything about guns OR holsters, but the first one looks cooler. 🙂

Edit: Oh yeah, and guns are bad, blah, they kill people, blah, blah blah. 😛

Haha, no the HOLSTERS. 😛 The gun is a Glock 22 .40.

Ahhhh... I like the 2nd one... the first one looks like it could be a hassle to get the gun out in an emergency.

It's supposed to be really comfortable too. This will be an off-duty holster, so I'll be wearing it for hours & while sitting...but it's expensive!

I like the saying, "Guns don't kill people, I kill people." 😀

Please tell me you're not one of these cops whose egos are massaged by sh!t like this.

Oh yeah...stroke that ego...😉

But seriously I need some opinions. Even if they're not opinions on the holsters themselves, it could serve me well to see if people would "splurge" for the top-of-the-line or just go with a cheap product.

Gah, here's a novel idea: put the subject of the post in the topic line. I don't give a rat's ass about holsters, but I had to click anyway since you decided to be so dramatically vague.

It does "lock" in whereas the nylon holster uses the tension from the belt to keep it snug. A little practice drawing should clear up any trouble, though.

That's right...you DID have to click. MUHAHAHA.

It's always been my opinion that if you have the choice between top-of-the-line and generic, you're better off getting quality ESPECIALLY if this is something you'll be using quite a bit, which it certainly sounds like. The problem with buying cheap items is that they are typically more likely to break or wear out sooner or are more likely to not quite be what you want. Then, you end up buying something else, and you're spending the same amount as you would have earlier on the good product.

You're carrying a weapon in it -- shouldn't it be something of top quality?

I can't argue that. 😛

How about, buy a real mans gun and chuck out the glock?

I like the Glock that I'm issued and I can't afford to buy another gun right now. Even if I could buy another gun, I'd almost definitely get a Glock 23 so that I could use it as a backup & still be able to use the 22's mags in case of a malfunction with my G22.
