which one to keep?

good question!
I don't even know if they have 6ns RAM.

Just got one from Bunta.com, which they advertise as 6ns RAM. (I buy from them quite often, and I tends to believe them)

The 6ns. rating is an internal access time and IMO should NOT be advertised, as the consumer will believe this is the external rating which is complete *CENSORED* 😉
Give us the numbers on the chips if you can and you will find 7.5ns. ram at CAS3 most likely.

CRV;

I haven't received my order yet.
But according to the website, it is KVR133X64C3/128, kingston's product number.

Is anyway you can check from the kingston's data bank about this RAM?
(my Adobe Reader keep giving me error)

From Kingston's own catalog...

128MB PC133 DIMM CL3 KVR133X64C3/128

another site confirms it as 133MHz. 7.5ns. 3.3V Gold pin

So they both are 7.5ns. CAS3 and probably are very similiar in performance..If I had the choice I would go with the Infineon myself but they both are good.

Chances are you are going to get infineon chips too with kingston. I've bought 4 sticks of kingston before and all of them have infineon chips. I think it really comes down to price. Just return the more expensive one.

thanks!

hmmm.......maybe I should test and compare them when my order arrived.
Sandra?...hmm.........any other choice?

Slower one is going to my wife's pc...😉

You're not going to see much speed difference if they're both running at the same speed. I just got some Kingston PC100 ValueRam and it does indeed has Infineon chips on it. Happily runs at 133MHz CAS2.
