Which one to choose? What's the difference?

Hi everyone

New on this forum looking for help.

I am in the market for 1GB (2x512) RAM. Settled with GeIL from Newegg, exceptional reviews.

My question is:
1. Which one to choose?
2. What's the difference since they have different timing?

Lower numbers = better timings. Will you actually see any increase in performance, probably not. Maybe in a benchmark or maybe 2fps better in Doom3.

Corsiar, Kingmax, Kingston, mushkin, Crucial...did i miss any? those are the only companies i'd buy ram from...i didn't know PNY made/reabadged ram.
