Which one to buy?

Thinking about buying a smartphone and narrowed my choice down to HTC, iPhone and Nexus. Which will be the best one?

I'd go with your preferred carrier first, then pick which phone you want from there. All of the providers vary depending on location.

i wouldn't touch it unless the upgrade to wp7 is clarified. so sad considering the absolutely gorgeous hardware...

For starters - Windows Mobile 6.5 + Sense really isn't THAT bad. I wouldn't say its as polished as some of the newer OSes out there, but its very usable, and I'd say pulling ahead of BBOS as well. Considering how good the hardware is, I'd say its still worthy of consideration.

Secondly - at this point, I don't see any official upgrades happening, all the latest rumors point to no. However, XDA-devs do some pretty good things....if MS/HTC won't do it, I'm sure XDA will.

Its definitely a blow that it likely won't be getting an official upgrade to WP7, but considering how good the hardware is, you definitely have to at least conisder it.

highly carrier dependent. As good as the N1 looks on paper, not everyone wants to switch to TMo.
