Which one should I buy?

Why spend over $1000 on a tv that's just for a bedroom?

Light weight, clear pictures, doesn't take up too much space... My budget for this tv is ~2k.

Because he can afford it? I got a Plasma 42" for my room.
Hey he can do whatever he likes. It just seems excessive. The only thing I use my bedroom tv for is to watch it for maybe 30 minutes before bed. To each their own.

If I was going to spend $2K on a 26" TV, I could just spend $500 more and get a 50" or something.

That said I would go w/the sharp, simply cause $2K for a 26" TV is not worth it IMO.

maybe he watches tv in his room, why waste money on a cheap tv at all. If your going to buy something why not invest in a quality product?

Not too long ago Brandsmart USA (here in Atlanta) had a sale for a 32" Aquos for $800 or so, my friend got in on the deal. He got HDTV from his cable a few days ago & it looks very nice, I would get the Aquos.

That Sony model is $300 cheaper at Costco. And the Sharp model is also cheaper at Costco. I would get something bigger though, like a 32".
