BenQ if you are a competitive gamer
Catleap if you are casual

The monitors are too different for us to decide for you since "gaming" is a very vague term and means different things to different people. They both have roughly no input delay, until you add in pixel response times. They are both very good in their respective niches.

Advantages of BenQ:
Less image persistence by default
Insanely less image persistence with lightboost
Sweet gamma profiles that improve visibility at the cost of color accuracy
Guaranteed 120Hz
The de facto resolution that everything is designed around

Advantages of Catleap:
Better colors
Better resolution
Viewing angles
The entertainment of being forced to overclock it

I would go for a 1440p monitor. I like the look of those 120HZ overclockable monitors, but I would never be able to push over 80FPS, so I haven't bothered, yet.

According to what you have mentioned i will recommend you to go for " The Yamakasi " . Just because it has good pixels doesn't mean it will give you better gaming experience you have to buy a graphics card as well to feel the game live.

The IPS 2560x1440 one - no doubt. You can't have enough screen real estate!

Maybe this has the same panel as the Dell Ultrasharp and the iMac - not sure how many different 27" panels there are in this resolution.

Cheers,

Stephen
