can the t420 be upgraded? Is this too old a laptop?

I went with a used t410. it has ssd. only 4 gb ram tho. cosmetic flaws, supposed to work

You think I made the right choice? I just need a laptop to use in different places. already have a high end desktop. the highest end game I'll prob be playing is frozen throne. own starcraft 2. haven't got around to getting good at it, slowly playing it
