Which one of these KDS monitors [VS-195E, VS-19SN, VS-190] ?

Which one of these KDS monitors [VS-195E, VS-19SN, VS-190]. I've been looking at these from buy.com, with the $30 off $150 coupon along with ebates its not a bad price for a good quality monitor but I'm unsure which one is the best with their prices only a few dollars apart?

AFAIK- the VS-19SN is just a short neck version of the others, so if you don't have much space, you might want that one.

Otherwise, the VS-195e is nice. I have one! 🙂

I would look at the KDS AV-195TF as well. It will run you a little more (~$400usd) but it's a 19" trinitron.

the 190 and 195e are both only about 1 inch deeper than the 19sn. I've heard the 195e uses a hitachi tube, the 190 i think is a cheaper korean one. The vs19sn i have uses a panasonic.

beware the 195sn... they are much more likely to fail.. i've rma'd ~10 out 15 i had to deal with.... meanwhile i haven't rma'd any of the 195's or 195e's......

have the vs195e, and it a great monitor for the price. i run 1152x864 at 100 refresh rate.

just a plug, kds makes great monitors, good choice,
with a coupon, i got the KDS AV-195TF for 350 not bad...great monitor

Go for the 195e if you don't mind deskspace and the 195sn if you do want to save deskspace.

lxi, if you read a lot of cnet type reviews, usually you'll see one that says. Plus my dad works in the monitor industry. People actually open their monitors so ,you'll find it eventually.
