So I am getting things on my CTS to-do list done finally. Today I just got the mesh grille to replace the stock one, I am sending the mesh to be black powder coated next week, but I am not sure about what to do with the Chrome frame for the grille and the Chrome hood molding.

TBH I am leaning towards the all black look, but the slight touch of chrome ain't bad either.

I GIMPed a photo of a CTS that looks just like mine to give you an idea how mine would look with either option.

Black, by a mile.. Chrome should have died back in the jurassic age when it last looked appropriate on cars.... CHROME IS SO UGLY.

I think chrome looks good on tons of cars but the car has to be classy. The CTS looks good with chrome but blacked out doesn't look bad either. My car is blacked out except for the wheels.

The Chrome grilled fusion and focus make me feel like puking everytime I look at them just so freaking cheesy, the body / dark grey colored grille version are miles better looks wise.at least.

Same thing with Cadillac, the mesh being chrome and the frame being chrome is an overkill. Too much chrome. the Mesh ought have been either powdercoated / painted or made out of ABS plastic honeycomb style

I am quite pro ford though so it is possible I would like it anyway
