Alright people... I'm trying to figure out which one looks better..

Navigation 1

or

Navigation 2

You have to maximize the windows when you view these to get the "full effect". Navigation 2 doesn't scale well at 100% window size when the users resolution is over 800x600. Navigation 1 on the other hand scales seamlessly. You can see Navgation1 in effect here.

Please help me decide which one looks better - feedback is highly appreciated!

I prefere no1 as it looks cleaner and smoother. It just feels better. I also like the Free shipping logo part and the way it stands out a bit more. Also its an important thing you would want people to KNOW about what your doing.

i picked ---> navigation 1.. links are all bunched together. which is a good thing for my lazy eye.

I didnt like ---> navigation 2 makes you have to look around for the links since they're sort of split into sections.

I picked number two because the name stands alone and stands out more. And it has less empty space, looks fuller.

i think that we need to see #2 in action too, personally I like #2, not positive on the reason why, but I like that little navigation 'chunk' on the upper right

I'd put #2 in action but i'd need to go through and change a bunch of code - so i guess the samples above will have to do for now.

New Question: Which looks more professional?

I like #1, not only does it look better but the fact that it scales to resolutions is a definite plus.

#1 also looks more professional IMO, I don't think I can explain it well but I think it's the fact that all the buttons are at the same angle. Everything on the menu has the same tilt, it looks very nice. #2 looks a lot more disjointed.

Ditto. I thought Navigation 1 contains a better consistancy with the rest of the page - along with flowing much better. What i'm looking for here is just a general consensus of what works the best for my customers (both aesthetically and functional). I appreciate the feedback.

P.S.
Look here for the new header style (the About Us graphic)

&

Look here for the old style header

Tell me which header you like best also. Thanks again!

i like #2 better until you use a link then it's disorienting as its much different than one so based on having a simple to use standard format i voted for #1

hope this helps

I like #1, but how does it handle low resolutions?

Also, I've only perused your site briefly, but you advertise free shipping always...and I dont' see any products anywhere.
