Ok, i have a question. I am picking up the Visiontek HD4870. Now, we all like to hold true that performance > looks. I agree to that. But, if we can get something that looks nice, and performs great why not right? Well heres my problem. I usually order from Newegg. I really like this Visiontek HD4870, i even like the simple look:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814129113

Now, when i look at other sites, they have this one:
http://www.xpcgear.com/900244.html and it has a different graphic? Which one is the real Visiontek 4870?

I like both graphics, but i just want to make sure i get the real PCE-Express one :) anyone got a pic of their Visiontek 48070? Hopefully grabbed it from Newegg as well :)

No real one if you ask me, both look 100% identical, save for the graphics sticker. Both will perform identicaly. It could be that either of the pictures isn't correct.

Can't confirm if you will get one that looks identical to the newegg.com pictures.

All the 4870s are PCI-e. They haven't made a new AGP video card in a long time.

The images on the boxes can vary. Some times a company markets a different box for different manufactures. Especially if that box happens to come with a free game or other little add in to the box.

I have the one from newegg....it looks exactly like the one they have pictured at newegg. I've seen three different graphics advertised for the visiontek card alone....either way I dont care because I never see it.
