Which one is the bigger jerk?

Camaro owner needs a swift kick in the ass. I hate self absorbed arrogant pricks who do that. You cherish your new car? Fine, good for you, so go park where there is no competition for close spots if the thought of dings is that worrisome.

I think it's more than a little ironic too, as being a total cockholster like that dramatically raises the odds of him having to deal with more than a ding.

Case in point - a guy I knew in Maryland would, when inconvenienced or incensed by similar douchenozzles, wait until the coast was clear then whip it out and piss all over the driver door and handle. He also bragged about using a dog turds to coat the interior of driver door handles with a little surprise for the owner. Ugh.

I'd rather just see them towed, but if people who have issues with parking learn the hard way that they aren't special, oh well.

The stupid thing is the Camaro had the opportunity to park on the end spot. He could had hugged the curb on the end spot and really given himself distance from the car next to him. I do that all the time in my new car. Assholes out there ding cars left and right.

SUV driver is a hero.

I can understand the camero's motivation, but if you're really paranoid about anyone dinging your car and want to take up 2 spaces, do so at the back of the lot where it's empty.

When I bought new cars I always parked them in the back of the lot. I don't know what the hell people have against a short walk anyway. Eventually I realized that by its operational nature a car is going to get beat up. So now I have a seven year-old truck and I don't give a shit what hits it, or (within certain limits) what it hits. I take it out in the woods and scrape the hell out of it and I just don't care. It's very liberating.

Maybe some day when I have money I'll have a nice car again but keep it in a garage and only drive it on weekends and always park in the back, but for now I'll keep my zero-fucks-given ride.

I was like that with my Audi. Mainly because it was older but also because the color(silver) with an aluminum body wont rust. My new Mazda will rust from bad dings and the color shows dings. Anyways I did get nailed even when parked far out of the way. Some a-hole put a nice ding in my passenger door and took a small chunk of paint. I owned the car a whole 20 days at that point and was fuming.

It's a freakin Camaro. Dude parks it like it's a Ferrari.

It will sitting on a corner used car lot, filled with rust, with balloons on its antenna 10 years from now being marketed to delinquent teenagers.

I could excuse that sort of behavior for a nice car (sticker price over $100k), but not a Chevy. Sorry.

clearly you've never seen a jam-packed fence with dozens of bikes locked up... I'm sure people have gotten off the train only to find that their bike is trapped behind someone else's lock.

Never seen anything like what you described.

I have seen abandoned bikes with locks on them through out the city.

But, they were most likely done by fat car drivers who tried to bike but realized they are too fat so they decided to lock up the bike and go back to being fat assholes in an automobile.

As a fellow yellow car owner, I will say the SUV is the bigger jerk. The proper way for the SUV to park would've been right behind the Camaro to block him in.

There's this douche that goes to my gym driving his new black mustang whatever, he parks semi diagonal in two spaces whenever possible. I drive a small car and if there's no other spots I will take whatever room he leaves me on either side of his car.

He'd kick my ass though if it came down to it.

sometimes I wish a had one of those SmartCars or something to do that... I've got this one neighbor who routinely camps his car between two spaces on the street in front of his house. when his wife gets home, he pulls his car up into a proper space and she parks behind him.

Yeah, but if it actually came down to it that would be assault, and after the civil suit settled you would get to park the black mustang whatever wherever.

Yeah, if he was alive and/or had use of his arms and legs.

I don't know. I think I could keep the guy on his toes enough to gas him out. He's one of those "too good for cardio" type guys. So he's bulky up top, but can never get rid of that belly.

And I would promptly sell that mustang, I have better things to do with my money.

SUV. Two wrongs don't make a right. Also, Camaros are low to the ground, parking next to a curb could scrape the bottom of the doors when entering/exiting the car if not outright ding the doors against the curb. SUVs sit up higher than a Camaro and generally aren't in danger of door dings from curbs.

Also, I like Camaros.

I passed up a chance to do this once.

The douchebag in question came out to his car as I was looking for a spot.
