Because all of those Androids are low end models.

I love Android, but when it comes to entry level phones, Windows Phone 8 will give you the better experience. If you were looking mid-range or high end, I'd go Android for sure.

The Nokia 520 runs Win 8 very well, very fast and fluid for a low end phone. It's a modern Dual core too... where as all of those Android phones mentioned are very old tech...single core Snapdraggons with the measly Adreno 200 or 205.... like 5-6 yrs ago tech.



I've seen some Nexus 4's going under $200 in good shape, so if that's an option it's the best one.

I haven't looked at those other budget Android phones. But the Nokia 520/521 is an amazing piece of hardware for just $100. The build quality is really nice, the textured back feels good in the hand, and the phone feels very solid. The 800x480 display is pretty good or great for this price. It has a micro SD slot, has a pretty good sounding speaker, camera seems good, and even has a dedicated two stage camera button. Seems like Nokia must be almost loosing money selling this phone this cheap.
