what does your bios hardware monitoring report? (i.e. when you're not in windows)

I had a similar problem when I had Monitor installed. The temps it reported were way off from the BIOS temps. I use SiSoft Sandra now and
it has the CPU and board temps reversed. The board is an ECS P4S5A if you're curious.

From what I remember from my old system, MBM is so notoriously inaccurate that I had to use the compensations to lower it, in a BIG WAY.

Bios said 19 degrees, MBM said 232 degrees...
Both supposed to be the p2 thermal diode sensor, in degrees centigrade...

With the compensation set to -213, MBM remained in sync with the BIOS.

that was MBM4, by the way.
