I have a sempron 2500+@1.89 on an ASUS A7V8X-X board. The ASUS probe is giving me incredibly hot temps(around 60-70C at load). For a while during the summer I thought it was correct, but now it is giving me the same temps at about 70F ambient and with the case open. I downloaded speedfan and it gave me between 47C and 58C while the probe is giving me its temps. MBM and Hmonitor show the same temps as speedfan, while the ASUS probe is consistantly 8-12C higher.
I know this CPU has the stock thermal pad on it and Vcore is stock@1.65 and stable. I know that 3rd party software may not be as good, but with a 3vs1 reading I'd like to know which temp is correct.
