Personally, I'd go with the Intel build. However... if cost is a major factor I'd go with the cheapest because both are good builds basically speaking.
 
Seconded. The Intel build should have a slight edge, thought both are very capable computers. They're both using EOL sockets (1156 and AM3), though you do have the option of hex-cores on AM3 (although it's unlikely that you'll need six cores any time before the next sockets get here, get well established, and become affordable).

If the AMD build is $50 cheaper or more, grab that.
