Which one would be better for my system?

Specs:

P4 2.8Ghz
ECS L4S8A2
9800Pro
Antec TruePower 430w

1GB Crucial pc2700 @ CAS 2.5

-- or --

512mb Samsung pc3500 @ CAS 3 and 166 ddr fsb

Which one is better for a gaming rig?

*provided that the samsung passes prime95 and 3dmark03, been crashing and/or failing everything so far!*

Thanks in advance!

I have had MANY problems with Samsung memory and no problems with Crucial memory. I think Crucial is awesome... great quality and a great price.

ECS L4S8A2, that board just doesn't go right with a P4 2.8 and the muscles of a Radeon 9800 PRo with an ANtec truepower 430W:).

I kno :(

i started out with a 1.6a, 1GB pc2100, 9000Pro, Deer 220w (all of which I got as gifts or donations) and the ECS L4S8A2 that i had to buy.

now, I've moved up in life :D but the mobo seems to have a death grip on me :D However, its a solid board for the price! ran on first boot and never a hiccup even! i'll be sad to let go of it.

My Samsung CL3 works at 2.5-6-3-3. No problem.

Actually my mobo wouldn't overclock at 3-8-3-3 . Took me a while to figure that out.
