Ok, i know both these cars are built upon the same chassis, but which car do you guys prefer and for what reasons?

I love the G35coupe because of the LED tail lights, refinement, the luxury aspect and sporty image, and the 4 seats.

the 350z is great and all, but it is only a two seater.

I'd imagine the G35 coupe might be a little bit slower only because of more weight..

BTW: My friend let me drive his G35 coupe and it is soooo sweet. The brakes are super sensitive and the exhaust note is sweeet honey to my ears.

S2000, looks like your in for some major competition.

If I were 18 probably the 350Z.

But since I'm turning 29 soon, I vote for the G35.

In general, would these two cars appeal to the same demographic profile?

Isn't the Z a bit more expensive?

350Z for me, most definitely.

Although the G35c is more practical, i've never been a big fan of the exterior and interior styling (or lack thereof).

that's a neg... starting for 350z is $26,000 while the s2000 is $32,000..

Good value for price the 350z is.

G35 because the only thing better than Nissan is infinity.

But seriously it's basically a Z that costs more so you get more features, better interior refinement, etc. Kinda like asking what do you like more: RC cola or coke? (please nobody answer that - it's an analogy).

OK, right you are.
Doesn't the Roadster Z come in a bit higher though? I thought all the S2000s were convertibles.

If the roads around here were totally different I might choose the S2000, but in my real world the torque and tractability of the Z would make it my choice.

You like the sound of that 3.5l nissan engine?...I assume you don't listen to engines very much. For a comparison of similar vehicle I suggest another roadster.

Borrow an s2k....rev it up to 8k...thats what a car is supposed to sound like.....:)

Out of those two in looks, g35 for stock appearance, 350z for mods.

Revving the car up to 9k takes soo lloooonnnng... sure it has a high redline range, but it takes forever to reach the upper band of the RPM range just to get maximum power...

dont' get me wrong, i do like the s2000, but the 350z just seems like more fun at a fraction of the cost.

I've never heard the high pitched whine of an S2000 crying for its mommy but I have heard that they are extremely impossible to launch from a stop if you expect any real acceleration without destroying your clutch at the same time!
