which one do i buy?

i am getting a new computer
Abit IS7
P4 2.4 GHz 800 FSB
DDR400 3200 - 512 MB CAS-2 Corsair CMX

and i wanna get a new video card to go with it
i really like Nvidia i dont have lots of $$

i was looking at the 9700 ATI Radeon
and i was sure i was gonna get that but i see the drivers arent that great

what do you think of the 5800 Nvidia?
all the problems i know it has is the loud fan and the 128bit bandwidth

what are all the problems and what is better?

when do you think the 5900 will get to around $250-300?

the 9700 pro is better than the 5800 and the 5800 ultra, also, the 5800 ultra takes up 2 slots and is really really loud. i suspect that the 5900 will be in the 250-300 range when the NV40 comes out (or whatever is the next one). also, if you have a fry's nearby, you can get hyperX pc3500 for $110 which is what corsair XMS pc3200 goes for these days. pc3500 is prolly a better choice for ocing a P4
