Which Old Video Card (No ATi)?

I may be upgrading my Super7 system soon to a Asus P5A mobo, I would like a Video Card for it that's around $40. The ATi Rage Pro Turbo that was in it provided fairly good performance, so somewhere around that level. No ATi, I'm upgrading from a AladdinV system with a ATi Rage Pro Turbo and it had stability issues, so i want to stay away from it. I was thinking on the lines of a Voodoo3 or a nVidia TNT2. Sound good? Thanks

If the Asus P5A uses a Via chipset (I believe it does) then definetly go with the Voodoo3. The TNT cards had some issues with Via chipsets, and the Voodoo3 always had better performance partly because of it...

Voodoo3's were famous for running great on all of the Super7 chipsets, even the VIA MVP3 probably because it didn't make very much use of AGP, but that was the advantage! So go for it! 🙂
