Which Office series should I add to my Blockbuster queue?

Just to let you know, Season 1 is hard to get through, but Season 2 is really good. Just hang in there through Season 1 and Season 2 will be very pleasant.

Ricky Gervais' wrapped up his version perfect, it's a fantastic comedy.
The American version is pretty funny too, but if they go too much longer it's going to turn into a Simpsons type show.

I might suggest the UK one first simply so you can see how the American one is in comparison. I honestly believe that the UK one is hyped up a bit much though. Its still great though.

Bad comparison. The Office is in its 3rd season, whereas the Simpsons is in its 18th.

UK > US but i highly recommend both. i think the BBC version has better actors overall. sometimes i think the NBC version is pretty stupid but that's just my opinions.

why do they use the weird camera angles/shots?

Its a single camera show, and meant to be a mockumentary of sorts. I have yet to see the UK version, but I really like the US one, one of my must watch shows...

After about 15 minutes of the first episode of Season 1, I decided to skip the whole season. It was almost painful to watch, as most of it was exactly like the UK version (only not nearly as funny). Season 2 seems better 🙂
