Question Which of these would you recommend the ASRock Z790M-ITX or GIGABYTE B760I AORUS PRO? (Edit to also addASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming)

I'm not overclocking or anything but prefer having an spdif output. I see the ASRock Z790M-ITX has a lot more reviews than the GIGABYTE B760I AORUS PRO. I don't see much difference in the two. The Gigabyte is $40 cheaper so there's that. Is one a better choice than the other?

Edit: My last itx build was a ASUS ROG STRIX B460-I GAMING which only had a header for spdif but added a bracket and it's been a reliable motherboard. The new ASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming also only had the spdif header but if it is a better choice then the other two I wouldn't mind adding the spdif bracket.

Asus has their own problems. One of them being in the recent past a reversed capacitor that burned out the board.

I have all 3 brands at the moment and they are all smooth sailing. If something does go wrong after the return period, Asus is the worst of the worst for RMAs, so that is something I factor in. I got a killer deal here in the forums on the Asus X570 board I have. When buying new I avoid them.

The Gigabyte AORUS PRO is $189.99 on Amazon at the moment, that'd be my pick for bang for buck. I have both Gigabyte and ASRock mini-ITX builds. Again happy with both. That's why I'd choose based on price.

Could either the Asrock or Gigabyte boards support i7-14700K?

Yes. Probably need a uefi update depending on when they were released for the CPU to work. Easy process with a USB drive and hitting the button on the back to flash it before assembly.
