I have been looking at getting the first one. It's cheap, and works.

The first and second both have fans in the back, while the 3rd one appears to only have some slots on the site for air, without a fan. If you are going to run a hard drive, I suggest getting one with a fan because the hard drive will give off a lot of heat.

You might check Newegg to see what some customers have said about the models that are carried over there.

none of them, they are all for both 5.25 inch and 3.5 inch drives, find something that is for only 3.5 inch drives if you plan on using it for a harddrive and not a cdwriter or something like that.

I have the 3.5 inch version of the first one you linked, like it except for the loud fan which I just disconnected, doesnt get that hot anyways.

Actually I prefer the 5 1/4 cases because they seem to keep the HD cooler and can be interchanged with Optical Drives. I would opt for a Firewire/USB-Highspeed Case Combo so you can have both worlds and Firewire runs faster ;)...

All you have to do to link properly is check the "Auto parse URLs" box down here!
OK, now to actually look.

The first one. For hard drives it's great. Not so good for 5.25" drives, though, as any that aren't stubby won't fit properly.
