Which of these two Power Supplies should I keep?

Hi,

I have ended up in possession of:

1. Cooler Master eXtreme 600W Power Supply
2. ULTRA X-Finity 500W Power Supply

I know they aren't something that gets recommended here but I can only keep one and have to flea-bay the other. Which one of these should I keep? I don't intend to go SLI..

I would keep the Cooler Master eXtreme 600W, as I think Cooler Master would be a better brand than ULTRA.

X-Finity, easily. As already stated, despite the [deservedly] bad reputation Ultra has, the X-Finity line is not bad at all. It's not something I'd be rushing out to buy, personally, but worth keeping around.

I don't think of coolermaster as a psu brand so I don't really like their psu's. The xfinity is powerful enough to run most gaming rigs but pretty loud. I'd keep the ultra.

Thanks for the responses.. I personally wanted to keep the X-Finity for the following reasons

1. Cheaper
2. Shiny (hahahha)
3. FlexForce Cables
4. Decent Reviews
5. Quiet.. ( i'd have to disagree with acegazda .. i think the X-Finity is very quiet.. but with the downside of the fan running too slow and not cooling enough.. the Cooler Master was the opposite.. very noisy fan but excellent airflow.. dropped CPU temp 5 degrees in my case.. cuz i have no rear case fans)

For the Coolermaster

1. Heavier (i always take that as 'better' for Power Supplies)
2. Actually a Seventeam 500W PS per johnnyguru and i guess they are good?
3. Huge help with airflow in the case
