*****EDIT***** ok, i'm gonna NOT get the motorola for sure. now it's a decision whether i should pay $50 for the samsung s105 or pay $100 for the samsung v205. 50 bucks more is a lot of money for me, especially on a cell phone. which one should i go for? what are the different features between the v205 and the s105?



the motorola pays me 50 bucks after MIR but the samsung i have to pay them 50 bucks for it. which one should i get? what are the feature differences between the two? any experiences?

who is your carrier.

to be honest, i have the motorola T720 with Verizon and the reception on this thing truly sux. really really sux.
 
I've got the Samsung S100, the european equivelent of the S105. It's a really nice little phone 🙂 I can't comment on it compared to other phones, specifically the Motorola, but I like it a lot 🙂

The Samsung hands down. I don't like the Motorola for some reason. I am a T-Mobile dealer too. I always recommend the S105 over the T722 or the T720. If you can and have enough $ get the Samsung V205.
 
I have the S105...awesome phone. I considered the V205 but couldn't get over the cheap feeling non-tactile buttons.
 
I was told the Motorola sucked REALLY bad...from T-Mobile customers AND Virizon customers alike. I have the S105 myself, and I think it's great. It's got better graphics/color...and it's just a great phone. Get the S105 definitely!

Actually, I had the cheapest motorola on the market, the V120 and IT'S AWESOME for reception. i bought the T720 for the Express Network tho. 🙁

 
I like my S105, but it's quirky at times.

For instance, it spontaneously reboots on occasion.

please don't be confusing the verizon t720 with a gsm t720 or t722... the gsm version is a much better phone while the verizon version is a crappy phone with crappy firmware that is riddled with problems

still, i would go for the s105 - samsungs interface > motorolas

S105 is hands down the better phone, I used to have the S105 and my friend had the T720.

But now I have my new love: Sony Ericsson T616

V205 doesn't have java, it has the camera instead. Slighlty larger overall, another thing to note is the screen is brighter than the S105. 40 tone polymorphic ringtone instead of 16.
