Which of these TV's?

My friend's dad needs to pick a TV, here's three from today's HHGregg flyer.

Sony 36" FD Trinitron Wega Flat-Screen Stereo TV - $849
... 16:9 enchanced mode
... Digital comb filter
... Scan-velocity modulation
... Component Video input
... KV36FS120

Toshiba 36" HDTV-Capable Digital FST Pure-Flat Stereo TV - $1099
... 3d-YC comb filter
... 3:2 pulldown switch
... "DFine" scan-velocity modulation
... CrystalScan HDSC, all-time 1080i
... 36HFX73

Toshiba 34" Cinema Series HDTV-Capable 16:9 Widescreen Pure-Flat Stereo TV - $1299
... Digital 3D-Y/C comb filter
... Scan-velocity modulation
... Double-baffle speaker system
... DVI-HDTV input with HDCP
... Component video inputs
... 34HFX83

Of those three, which should be picked and why? In the same price range, is there any other TV that should be considered?

Just make sure its 16:9, HDTV. I don't like any of those brands, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the 34" Toshiba, because of the DVI input. But if you can, go larger. I bought a 36" HDTV a few years ago, and I'm looking for at least a 65" now, for it seems to small. 🙁

keyword-friend's dad. does he watch more dvds or more tv? is he even going to use hd? ae the channels he watches in hd-they will be in the future. If this guy is like 65 years old, get the 4:3, since he'll probably feel bars on the side with everything non-hd sucks. check out the 34 inch hd from sony as well.

Thanks, any others we should consider though?

This would be used for dvd's as well as cable tv. They have digital cable though
